Cali 2006

We had tons of fun spending a day at Huntington Beach! This was Jonathan's first trip to the ocean so it was fun to see him jump right in with the boogie board and go! He was an animal! Since then he has been dying to go back...but aren't we all?
We also built a really nifty sand castle (or more like a sand temple) that took us like three hours. Luckily we brought the umbrella to keep it in the shade so the sand stayed moist and easy to sculpt. I think it turned out pretty darn cool :) The beach was pretty much deserted that day so we got the whole thing to ourselves!

These pics are from our trip to Cali over Labor Day of 2006. Mom, Dad, and Jonathan make pretty good letter imitations don't you think? :) It was the hottest day ever when we were at Six Flags but luckily there weren't many people there so we didn't have to wait in lines. We got to ride the Tatsu roller coaster a bunch - it was by far all of our favorite ride! Jonathan just had to get his picture taken with these super awesome super heroes as they passed through the grounds...he is way hotter than Batman! I almost had to beat Wonder Woman up for putting her hands on my man though! J/k!
