Ayden's Blessing Day

On Sunday we were able to bless our little Ayden and it was an amazing experience. We had a lot of family from Jonathan's side come to be a part of it and the blessing Jonathan gave was so sweet...I was bawling before he had even finished his first sentence. It was so amazing to have so many family members and friends be able to join in - thank you to everyone who was there to be a part of this, especially Jonathan's parents and sister since they drove all the way down from central Oregon just for this weekend.

Jonathan, Ayden, and me with Jonathan's parents Tom and Terry.
Our handsome little man.

My parents were wonderful enough to let us hold a luncheon at their house afterward and everything turned out great! We had more than enough food thanks to the Jonathan's parents and I can't thank my mom enough for spending all weekend baking cookies for dessert. My family worked hard to make this day all that it could be and I love them dearly for it.

Ayden with his Grandpa Decker. While they were here there was hardly a moment when one of them wasn't holding Ayden. What a spoiled little guy :)
I decided to take some shots of him just by himself in the adorable little white tuxedo we bought him. He was being so cute I couldn't help but take a ton of pictures! He's going to have a whole scrapbook full of pictures before he's even three months old!

He kept smiling at me while I was taking pictures and it just made my heart melt. How is it that you can love something so much???

We looked all over for a pair of shoes that would go well with his little tuxedo but found nothing. Finally we went to Babies 'r' Us and found a pair of white knit booties. They worked out great! I decided that maybe someday I'll have to start a line of baby clothing that specializes in just boys clothes because it seems like there is WAY more stuff out there for baby girls!

His tuxedo jacket had the cutest little tails! When we tried it on him it was love at first sight!
