Lake Tahoe - August 2007

In August of 2007 we took a trip with our friend Kenny out to Lake Tahoe. Although it was only 4 days and the drive was really long, we had a lot of fun. We stayed at a Marriott timeshare called the Timber Lodge which is right on the California/Nevada border so all we had to do was walk a block if we wanted to hit up the casinos (which we only did a few times...everybody's got to at least once right?). It was also really close to a lot of shopping and activities so we had lots to do.

Our villa there was a spacious two bedroom with a full kitchen. It was nice to have some room to sprawl after calling it a day since there was a grocery store right across the street it was easy to keep food at the villa so we didn't have to eat out everyday.

The water was gorgeous but extremely cold! The sand was really rough too so we actually only ended up spending about 30 minutes total at the lake because we had no fun toys to play in the water with and it was too expensive to rent anything between just us three.
